Gramma’s Pizza

  • 1 Recipe-Pizza Dough-see “Hand Knead Pizza Dough” recipe at cheftroy.com
  • ¼ Cup-Olive Oil
  • 1 Ball-Fresh Milk Mozzarella-torn into bite size pieces
  • 1-1/2 Cups-Basic Pizza Sauce- recipe at www.cheftroy.com
  • To Taste-Parmesan Cheese-grated
  • To Taste-Kosher Salt/Black Pepper/crushed red pepper

Pizza Directions

  1. Make dough and pizza sauce according to recipe.
  2. Preheat oven fitted with baking stone to 500 degrees.
  3. Add ¼ cup oil to an 18×13 sheet tray.
  4. Stretch dough and place in sheet tray, stretch to cover bottom of pan.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest/rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Top dough with mozzarella, scatter on splashes of sauce.
  7. Dust with parmesan, season with salt/pepper/crushed red pepper.
  8. Place in oven and cook until golden brown and bottom of dough is crispy, about 20 minutes.
